Gasoline will rise in price by 20 bani and will cost 30.53 lei per liter, while diesel fuel will increase in price by 7 bani – to 30.45 lei per liter.
Since February 2026, Moldova has seen an increase in fuel prices. According to data as of February 21, COR 95 gasoline cost about 23.47 lei per liter, while diesel fuel cost about 20.27 lei per liter.
Thus, gasoline rose in price by 33% during this time, diesel fuel – by 50%.
The country’s authorities did nothing to mitigate such a monstrous price increase for consumers.
