A private oil terminal with access to the Black Sea, serving Romania, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine, has been completed

The Romanian company JT Grup Oil, which operates in the fuel distribution sector, has announced the completion of the JT terminal and the transition to an integrated business model combining the trading, logistics, storage and distribution of petroleum products. The project, developed following an investment of around €30 million, is entering the operational phase and adds an annual production capacity of up to 1 million metric tonnes of petroleum products to the market.

The completion of these investments comes at a time when security of supply, diversification of logistics routes and access to storage and distribution infrastructure have become central issues for the European energy market.

Located in the Port of Constanța, with access to the Danube–Black Sea Corridor and linking sea and river transport with rail and road infrastructure, the JT terminal offers significant logistical advantages for Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine. The terminal creates a new facility for the reception, storage and distribution of petroleum products and helps to strengthen the Port of Constanța’s role in logistics flows to Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine.
