Traditionally, the celebration begins with a wreath-laying ceremony on the Avenue of the Classics. The dictation itself will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will take place in the center of the capital, on the Square of the Great National Assembly. Participants will include schoolchildren, college students, teachers, parents, and anyone else who wants to test their knowledge of the Romanian language.
The organizers will provide them with paper, pens, water, and commemorative headwear. The number of participants is expected to reach about 3,500 nationwide (approximately 2,500 in the capital and 1,000 at regional venues).
And in the evening, on the Eugen Doga pedestrian street, you can catch the literary and musical program “Limba română, sufletul neamului!”, which begins at 7:00 p.m.
The program will feature the Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dumitru Cârciumaru and the Doina Academic Choir. The lineup also includes Natalia Barbu, Cătălin Josan, Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici, Brio Sonores, and others.
