
In particular, Chisinau Deputy Mayor Victor Prutianu held a meeting with representatives of the “Austrian School in Moldova” Foundation, Wolfgang Kern—coordinator of the project “Establishment of an Austrian School in Moldova” and a representative of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education.
During the talks, the parties reviewed the stages of the project’s implementation, as well as the steps that will need to be taken to begin construction of the Austrian School building. According to the mayor’s office, the school will be built at 1 Sprynchenoaya Street in Chisinau.
In addition, they reviewed the administrative and technical steps necessary to advance the project and adhere to its implementation schedule. In this context, Victor Prutianu confirmed the Chisinau City Hall’s readiness to facilitate the project’s implementation within the scope of the local public administration’s authority.
It was also emphasized that the project is important not only for the development of the capital’s educational system but also for educational cooperation between the two countries.
As a reminder, the Austrian College of Electronics and Information Technology opened in Chisinau a year ago. The institution offers vocational and technical training programs in accordance with Austrian standards.
