
At the end of the tournament, the Moldovan team took the first place in the team standings, winning six gold, four silver and four bronze medals, Media Sport reports.
The tournament champions were Ion Bulgaru (57 kg), Leomid Colesnic (65 kg), Maxim Sakulcan (70 kg), Vasile Diacon (74 kg), Andrian Grosul (97 kg) and Radu Lefter (125 kg). Silver medals were won by Vasile Marcu (65 kg), Marius Retco (79 kg) and Lilian Balan (86 kg), while the bronze medalists were Gabriel Ojog and Gheorghe Robu (both 79 kg), as well as Traian Capacina (92 kg).
The team was prepared by head coach Roman Dermenzhi, while the Moldovan delegation was led by Dimitri Avornik.
