The Republican Olympiad in Economics was held during May 22-24, 2026 in Chisinau.
It was organized by the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment under the Ministry of Education and Research in cooperation with members of the Republican Olympic Council.
The competition in economic knowledge is included in the list of 24 Republican Olympiads and contests to be held in 2026.
During the ceremony of awarding the winners of the Olympiad, the rector of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and the chairman of the Republican Olympic Council for Economics, Alexandru Stratan, addressed a congratulatory message to the students.
“We strive, also through these competitions, here in Moldova, to form well-trained specialists in economic and entrepreneurial fields, so that they are ready to manage complex economic processes and the country,” said Alexandru Stratan, rector of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and chairman of the Republican Olympic Council for Economics, during the ceremony of awarding the winners of the Olympiad.
