The new institution will train specialists in technical fields in demand on the labor market, such as computer networks, software programming and testing, electromechanics, and electronics. According to the authorities, the college will contribute to the development of vocational education in the south of the country and expand access to modern and competitive training for young people from the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia.

The Ministry of Education and Research will ensure the appointment of an acting director, approval of the admissions plan, and the operation of the institution until the accreditation of the curricula. Approximately 60 students are expected to enroll in the first year. The project also includes the college in the list of vocational schools under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Research.

Authorities claim that the new college will benefit from modernized infrastructure and advanced educational practices borrowed from the Republic of Turkey as part of cooperation between the two countries.

Recall that construction of the college began in 2021 at the initiative of then-Bashkan Irina Vlah and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
