HORECA EXPO provides a platform for the presentation of the latest technologies, professional equipment, processing and packaging solutions, as well as food and beverage products. The exhibition includes three thematic segments: Food and Beverage, Food Technology and Packaging.
During the official opening ceremony of HORECA EXPO 2026, Sergiu Guerciu, Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA), emphasized the contribution of this sector to the country’s economic development. He noted that the HoReCa sector supports local entrepreneurship, contributes to the development of the local agri-food sector, tourism promotion and job creation.
“Consumers today are not only looking for goods and services but also for authentic experiences, quality and local identity. We have all the prerequisites to become a competitive gastronomic and tourism center in the region, and this depends on our ability to invest in people, technology, sustainability and long-term partnerships,” stated Sergiu Guerciu.
