
The government approved the transfer, free of charge, to the district’s ownership of works, services, and property with a total value of more than 92 million lei, carried out as part of the project “Drinking Water Supply System for Villages in the Hîncești District. Phase I—Settlements in the Prut River Floodplain.”
The infrastructure is intended for the residents of Obilen, Cotul-Morii, Leuşen, Săreţen, Nemţen, Căţelen, Ivanovka, Costesti, Onesti, Strimbeni, and Buzhor.
The project includes water transmission and distribution networks, a water treatment plant, pumping stations, reservoirs, process equipment, and an automated control and monitoring system.
Water will be drawn from the Prut River and undergo filtration and disinfection. Water quality will be monitored in real time.
