The Ministry of Finance has prepared a draft order approving the corresponding standard payment notice forms it has developed.
As explained in the explanatory note to the document, currently, individuals (citizens) pay local taxes and fees online based on payment notices issued by local authorities, and in the case of property tax — by the State Tax Service—through access to the government portal or the EVO platform.
The proposed change will improve compliance with tax laws by providing taxpayers with an even simpler way to pay local taxes.
Specifically, new standard forms will be approved for property tax notices regarding assessed real estate as well as unassessed real estate, land tax, sanitation and hygiene service fees, fees for commercial properties and/or facilities providing services to self-employed individuals, and a standard property tax payment notice form.
All draft forms are available for review and for relevant comments and suggestions. They can be viewed until July 22 of this year.
