
2.5 million lei have been allocated to fund projects aimed at preventing drug use. Nonprofit legal entities—associations, foundations, and institutions established in accordance with the law—are eligible to participate.
The selection process will evaluate the relevance and quality of the project, the reasonableness of the budget, expected results, sustainability, the team’s experience, and cooperation with government agencies and NGOs.
Applications will be accepted until September 8, 2026. The opening of applications will take place on September 9 at the CNAM building in Chisinau.
It is worth noting that in 2025, 704 new official cases of drug use were registered in the Republic of Moldova, representing 28.8 cases per 100,000 residents, compared to 22.3 cases in 2024. The total number of people registered for medical treatment reached 12,400, or 507.85 cases per 100,000 residents, compared to 12,100 people in 2024.
