
Analysts at Blask analyzed search queries related to betting on specific sports in 100 countries.
The majority of these queries were for soccer—84.1%. American football was the second most popular, with 3.1%, while esports ranked third with a 2.4% share.
By this metric, esports outperformed basketball, hockey, tennis, baseball, and other traditional sports.
Analysts recorded the highest interest in esports betting in Brazil—49.4% of search queries related to betting on specific sports. Next were the Philippines (47.9%), Hungary (30.1%), Moldova (26.8%), and Sweden (25.8%).
Oddin analysts also note the segment’s growth. According to their data, in 2025, the volume of esports bets grew by 31%, and the total number of bets increased by 23%.
