The glass recycling plant in Buzău has an annual capacity of 80,000 metric tons. The facility recycles used glass and transforms it into secondary raw materials, which are then returned to the economic cycle and used by industry.
“For the recycling system to operate effectively, we need infrastructure, technology, and strong partnerships. This is precisely where we are investing and where our faith lies,” said Sergey Balitsa, CEO of ABS 2000.
ABS 2000 made these investments with financial support from the Romanian Environmental Fund Administration as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), with support from the Moldovan bank maib, the project’s financial partner.
ABS 2000 has more than twenty years of experience in waste management and recycling, operating in Moldova and Romania.
