A video has been published which, quoting statements by the Belarusian Defense Ministry Euronews, shows “the delivery of nuclear munitions to field storage points in the area of operations of the missile unit.”

The missiles of the Iskander-M operational-tactical complex have a range of up to 500 kilometers.

According to the Belarusian portal BELTA, the personnel of the aviation units of the Russian Air and Space Forces involved in the exercise are practicing the equipping of special warheads of aeroballistic hypersonic missiles “Kinzhal” and sorties to the designated patrol areas.

The exercises began on Tuesday. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 64,000 servicemen and 7,800 pieces of equipment are taking part, including more than 200 missile launchers, over 140 UAVs, 73 surface ships and 13 submarines, eight of which are strategic missile carriers.

The maneuvers are taking place against the backdrop of growing tensions in relations with the Baltic states due to an increasing number of incidents involving drones.

The Security Service of Ukraine said that Kiev was stepping up security measures in the north of the country to prevent “sabotage and terrorist acts”.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had discussed a possible Russian offensive in northern Ukraine with the top military command.
