According to RBC, Aksyonov announced this on his Telegram channel. The mayor of Sevastopol also posted a similar message.
They justified the declaration of a state of emergency by citing the need to resolve economic issues as quickly as possible. “The legal framework of a state of emergency allows us to resolve issues related to the stable functioning of all sectors on which people’s livelihoods depend as quickly as possible,” RBC quoted the governor of Sevastopol as saying.
Earlier, the authorities of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol imposed restrictions on the sale of fuel to citizens. Since late May, gasoline sales at local gas stations in Sevastopol have been limited to 20 liters per person. Later, similar measures were extended to the entire Crimea.
