Of the 14 procurement procedures for military infrastructure in Băcioi, three were completed in the first half of the year

The Ministry of Defense has planned 14 capital construction procurement procedures for the first half of this year to develop military infrastructure at the military camp in Băcioi, for a total estimated amount of approximately 434.9 million lei, excluding VAT. According to the monitoring report, only three procedures had been completed by the end of this period.

The total value of the completed procedures was 75.86 million lei, excluding VAT. Another 7 procedures, totaling 180.17 million lei, were postponed. Two procedures totaling 118.11 million lei were in progress, and two more procedures totaling 60.8 million lei remained scheduled.

Among the postponed procedures were procurements for the construction of military infrastructure facilities, as well as work on the construction of external water supply, sewer, electricity, gas, and heat supply networks at the military camp in Băcioi.

Overall, during the first half of 2026, the Ministry of Defense, through the Agency for Resource Provision and Asset Management (AARAP), planned procurements totaling approximately 586.1 million lei, excluding VAT. Completed procurements account for just over one-third of the plan’s total value.
