The final, ninth stage of the program took place on August 11–13 in Comrat. Approximately 140 people from the districts of Cădîr-Lunga, Taraclia, Cantemir, Comrat, and Leova participated.
The training was designed for both aspiring entrepreneurs and those who are just planning to start their own business.
Participants received information on the legal, tax, customs, and administrative requirements associated with starting and running a business. Representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Customs Service, and the State Tax Service, as well as local experts, took part in the program.
Topics covered included the registration of legal entities, tax obligations, accounting and financial management, procurement, customs procedures, and conducting foreign economic activities.
Special attention was given to practical issues. During question-and-answer sessions, participants were able to discuss specific situations that arise when establishing or developing a business and receive clarification from experts.
Upon completion of the training, participants were awarded certificates.
The training took place in nine regions of the country
The training program for startups is being implemented as part of the “Moldova Is Europe: Support for European Integration” project, with the participation of relevant Moldovan government agencies.
The program’s goal is to improve entrepreneurs’ understanding of the legal, tax, and administrative framework necessary for establishing and sustainably developing a business.
Since its launch, the training has been held in Chisinau, Balti, Cahul, Orhei, Căușeni, Ungheni, Ialoveni, Edineț, and Comrat.
