He urged young Moldovans living abroad to consider returning home after completing their studies or a certain phase of their lives abroad, and to apply the knowledge they have gained to the country’s development.
“There are opportunities in Moldova both in the public sector—and here I mean that, if you wish, you can apply for internship programs for young people, which are paid and offer an easier way to enter public service— — as well as in the business sector. There are support programs for young people, including those returning from the diaspora who want to invest and start their own businesses here. But, in principle, I believe that Moldova has a great chance to become a wonderful state, a beautiful country, especially with your help,” Sinchevici said.
He also emphasized that young people who have lived in European countries are better able to convey accurate information about life abroad.
“People who have never left the country may not know what life in other countries is really like. But you’ve been there; you’ve seen how people live in Italy, Germany, and France,” the lawmaker noted.
In his view, the participation of young people from the diaspora could be one of the factors driving the further development of the Republic of Moldova.
“Throughout the history of every country, the diaspora has played an important role in its development. That is why I urge you to give the Republic of Moldova a chance after you complete your studies or a certain stage of your journey abroad, and to return to Moldova,” the lawmaker concluded.
