
State Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection Vasile Kushka noted at the opening the importance of specialized enterprises for the social and professional integration of people with disabilities.
“This project is a successful example of cooperation between the state, civil society and charitable organizations. By buying products made by people with disabilities, we support specialized enterprises and promote their labor integration,” the official said.
Director of the enterprise Andrian Bobeika stressed that the state support allowed modernizing production processes and improving working conditions:
“We managed to develop the enterprise, modernize production and create more comfortable working conditions. This support allows us to expand our activities and create new jobs for people with disabilities”.
The enterprise employs 50 blind employees and produces paper towels and napkins for the kitchen, clothespins for laundry and lids for jars.
Lumintehnica’s products can be purchased in the company’s store at 2 Pietrarilor Street in Chisinau, as well as ordered in bulk. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection encourages citizens, public institutions and businesses to support the local manufacturer.
