Iran announced retaliation against the U.S. and Israel for Khamenei. Trump responded with a threat

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian, in a televised address, called Ali Khamenei’s death a “crossing of a red line” and promised a “proportionate and tough response,” saying Iran has the right to self-defense and use the potential of the armed forces.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of a retaliatory operation, emphasizing that the strikes targeted military and strategic sites, and that Washington and Tel Aviv were responsible for further escalation.

US President Donald Trump reacted to Iran’s claims of a “retaliatory strike” via social media site Truth Social.

“Iran just announced that they will strike very hard today, harder than ever before. However, they better not, because if they do, we will hit them with a force never seen before!” – Trump wrote on Sunday.
