Since the beginning of this year, the Customs Service has collected approximately 22.7 billion lei for the state budget, which represents 102.9% of the target.
At the same time, between July 13 and 19, 2026, individuals imported goods whose customs value exceeded the tax-free limit, resulting in the collection of approximately 22.7 million lei, which represents 2.7% of the total amount collected during that period.
In addition, 12,862 customs declarations were processed during the reporting period, and the flow of vehicles totaled 94,325 border crossings. The busiest customs checkpoints remain Leușen and Scușen, with 19,651 and 16,006 border crossings, respectively.
