He said he will open the event together with European Commissioner Marta Kos.
The prime minister emphasized that active preparations for the event are under way. The Economic Development and Infrastructure Ministry, as well as the Moldova-Invest agency are involved in the process:
“This is a very important event for us, for Moldova, and it is not a formal event – we will make sure that it will result in concrete results.”
Munteanu referred to a recent statement made by European Commissioner Marta Kos in the European Parliament, who noted Moldova’s progress in implementing reforms to get closer to European standards.
“Moldova is among the leading countries – in fact, it is the leader, let’s be frank, this is a quote from her words – in the implementation of reforms in the process of convergence to European standards with a 93% index. It is important, of course, to speed up this process and turn these achievements into real economic results, growth and investments,” the prime minister said at a government meeting.
