This was announced on social media by the Mayor of Chișinău, Ion Ceban. He noted that the initiative was the municipal authorities’ response to the considerable interest shown by the capital’s residents in the services offered by the country’s first and only centre of its kind, which is already operational.
“More than 10,000 people have already taken advantage of the free training and events offered by the city council. We are now working to provide even more opportunities for training, upskilling and personal development for the residents of Chișinău,” wrote Ion Ceban.
The project involves major repairs and refurbishment of the premises, including the renovation of the roof and windows, the laying of floor coverings, and the installation of ventilation and heating systems, electrical wiring and plumbing.
At the same time, the necessary conditions will be created for the delivery of educational programmes and the work of trainers during the period 2026–2027.
The municipality’s partners in implementing the project are the IP ‘DVV International Moldova’, with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the mayor clarified.
