A fake link—evo.download-store.click/app.html—is circulating online, displaying a page that mimics Google Play by using the name “EVO” and the name of the e-Government Agency, along with images and information about the app.
When users click the install button, they are prompted to download a file directly, which may install a malicious app capable of collecting personal data (such as name, phone number, and email address), authentication data (passwords, OTP codes), device information, and, in some cases, banking details or access to financial apps.
The Agency warns that the EVO app can only be downloaded and updated from the official App Store and Google Play app stores.
Citizens are strongly advised not to download or install apps from links received via SMS, messages, social media, email, or other unknown sources, even if the page uses logos, images, and visual elements that appear official.
