The project cost more than 1.1 million lei. Of that amount, approximately 773,000 lei was allocated by the National Health Insurance Company (NHIC) from the fund for the development and modernization of public healthcare facilities. The Institute of Oncology itself provided approximately 329,000 lei in funding.

The system has already been installed and tested. During a monitoring visit, NCMH representatives confirmed that the work was completed in accordance with the terms of the contract and that the equipment is ready for operation.

The operating suite is still undergoing renovations, and the new equipment will be put into use once all work is completed.

The project is expected to improve safety in the operating rooms and create more modern conditions for performing surgical procedures at the Institute of Oncology.
