To Alexandru Munteanu
“Today I am concluding my term as prime minister. I accepted the offer to lead the government with a great sense of responsibility and a firm conviction that I could help bring about positive change. When I realized that I could no longer fulfill my duties in accordance with the principles and convictions I hold dear, I decided to step down,” Munteanu said.
He thanked his colleagues—the ministers, their teams, and everyone “who worked professionally and conscientiously.”
“I will continue to serve my country, whatever position I hold, regardless of where I live or what duties I perform—whether in the public or private sector. I am convinced that our duty to the country is determined not by the position we hold, but by our commitment to that duty. Thank you!” said Alexandru Munteanu.
