Since the beginning of this year, customs has collected approximately 19.3 billion lei for the state budget, which is 102.8% above the target.
At the same time, between June 15 and 21, 2026, individuals imported goods whose value at customs exceeded the tax-free limit, resulting in the collection of approximately 25.4 million lei, which accounts for 3% of the total amount collected during that period.
In addition, 11,926 customs declarations were processed during the reporting period, and the flow of vehicles totaled 82,797 border crossings. The busiest customs checkpoints remain Leuşeni and Sculeşti, with 17,172 and 13,927 crossings, respectively.
