The MAME 2 loan project is expected to be approximately 750 million Lei and will double the financing capacity of the Agency for Development and Modernization of Agriculture (ADMA). The financial resources will be used to facilitate farmers’ access to modern agricultural machinery and equipment needed to increase productivity, optimize agricultural operations, and adapt the sector to modern production requirements, including climate change.
In addition to the financial component, the project will also include technical assistance in key areas of agriculture. This support will focus on fostering cooperation between farmers, improving soil management, and developing and promoting the wine sector.
According to the approved schedule, the signing of the loan agreement is scheduled for November 2026, following the completion of institutional procedures in Moldova and Japan. Financing of the MAME 2 project through ADMA is planned to begin in early 2027.
