The seminar program included both a theoretical session and practical training. The participants improved their skills in pruning techniques, rationing (cutting) of inflorescences, girdling and shaping of bushes. These agro-technological operations are aimed at a balanced development of the vine, as well as at regulating the load (future harvest) on the plants. The quality and price of the production, as well as, ultimately, the image of Moldovan viticulture on foreign markets depend on this.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) supports the initiatives of subordinate institutions “to promote the transfer of knowledge, innovation and best practices, which are strategic tools for the sustainable development of the viticulture and wine industry”.
