In Moldova, interest in Eurovision has increased dramatically: the number of viewers of the final stage has more than doubled compared to 2024

Viewer interest in the contest in Moldova reached the highest figures in recent years as Moldova returned to Eurovision after a one-year break.

The final, in which Satoshi performed the song “Viva Moldova!”, was watched by 67,054 people, representing 20.94% of the total number of viewers, reaching a peak of 37.41% during the voting. This is a 251% increase compared to the audience of the 2024 final and 375% more than last year, when Moldova did not participate in the contest, with 17,880 viewers.

The first semi-final, in which Moldova competed for a place in the final, was watched by 72,954 viewers, representing 16.59% of the total number of viewers, while the second semi-final was watched by 9.7%.

Moldova was represented at Eurovision 2026 by Satoshi with the song “Viva, Moldova!”, who placed 8th in the final.

Moldova received 12 points based on the results of viewer voting in Italy, Romania and Ukraine.
