Many of them are arranged as tourist sites.
The works were carried out within the framework of a large-scale project financed by the Chisinau City Hall. A group of archaeologists from the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University, led by Professor Serghei Mustiata, Doctor of Historical Sciences, took part in them.
The projects are aimed at integrating landmarks into the process of urban development, preserving the historical identity of the city and increasing citizens’ interest in the cultural heritage of our capital.
