These data are contained in the information of the Ministry of Education and Research on the Day of Dual Education held in Balti on April 25, 2026. The event, aimed at popularizing this educational model and professional orientation of young people, gathered more than 500 secondary and high school graduates from Balti and northern regions of the country (Singerei, Floresti, Falesti, Glodeni, Drochia and Riscani).
Value of the partnership
“Dual Education Day is an important platform for dialog and cooperation, where partnerships are strengthened and ideas are transformed into sustainable projects. At the same time, it gives young people the opportunity to get acquainted with the professions of the future and understand the advantages of dual education,” said Ludmila Kraitman, Director of the Balti Polytechnic College, an institution that implements dual education programs.
The value of partnership between the education system and the economic environment was also emphasized by the representatives of the partner companies. Oksana Rahubenco, Head of Human Resources and Organizational Development at SA “RED-Nord”, stressed the importance of involving the private sector in the training of future specialists.
“Young people are a valuable resource for companies and for the development of the national economy. By participating in dual education programs, companies contribute to the practical training of students and encourage them to stay in the Republic of Moldova, develop here professionally and be proud that they can succeed in their home country,” Oksana Rahubenco said.
The event was attended by 14 vocational schools from the north of the country that implement dual education programs, as well as partner companies involved in the practical training of students.
The Days of Dual Education are organized within the campaign to promote this model of vocational education, supported by the project “Strong Enterprises and Municipalities for Moldova”, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Government, implemented by GIZ Moldova.
