This was announced by the capital’s mayor, Ion Ceban, at the opening of the Alley. In a message on social networks, he stressed that this was done a week before the official opening of the 2026 biker season in Moldova, which will take place on March 29 on the Great National Assembly Square.

“From today, lovers of riding on two wheels have a space in Chisinau where they can meet and go on various trips and hold other events,” Ion Ceban wrote.

He said that before the opening, the sidewalk was repaired and trees were planted in the Bikers’ Alley, as well as small signs with the names of Moldovan biker clubs were installed next to each tree planted.

“Today together we have installed a motorcycle with which everyone can take a photo, as well as a monument in honor of the bikers who died and a panel for check-in (bikers from any corner of the world will be able to place a sticker with their club),” Ion Ceban said.
