The project also includes equipping laboratories with modern equipment and providing ongoing professional development for teachers. A total of 13 partner educational institutions are participating in the project—11 vocational schools and two centers of excellence.
In addition to revising instructional materials for students, another key element of the project is the professional development of teachers. To this end, strategic partnerships have been established with the State University of Moldova and the Technical University of Moldova, institutions that will provide training for teachers and administrators in the areas of general education pedagogy and educational psychology.
Close cooperation between schools and the private sector remains a priority to ensure graduates’ successful transition into the labor market.
In the context of developing dual education, during the program’s launch, the organizers also highlighted the efforts of business partners—economic actors actively involved in the practical training of young professionals in fields such as energy, transportation, construction, and the food service industry.
The initiative is being implemented by the non-governmental organization “Education for Development” (AED) with financial support from the Liechtenstein Development Fund (LED).
