Trump on Patriot missiles for Ukraine: “We need them ourselves”

During a conversation in the Oval Office, broadcast by Sky News, Trump was asked, among other things, about long-range missiles for Ukraine—specifically for Patriot systems, according to  “Ukrainska Pravda”.

“Zelenskyy says his country desperately needs long-range missiles or missiles for the Patriot batteries”, the question stated.

To which Trump replied: “We need missiles ourselves. Biden gave him so many; Biden gave him $300 billion worth of ammunition”.

Earlier reports indicated that during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy last week, Trump refused to provide hundreds of additional interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense systems.
