
In crop production, prices fell (−8.5%): prices for open-field vegetables (−29.4%), fruits and berries (−23.5%), corn (−15.5%), and grains (−14.7%).
However, prices rose for rapeseed (+6.5%) and sunflower seeds (+2.9%).
In livestock production, producer prices rose on average (+1.6%): eggs (+25.6%), honey (+6.5%), and live weight cattle (+2.7%) became noticeably more expensive. At the same time, prices for sheep and goats (−15.7%) and milk (−1.6%) declined.
Against the backdrop of an overall increase in agricultural production volumes (+8.9%) in the first half of 2026, the financial situation and real incomes of many farmers remain under pressure due to rising input costs, weather risks, and declining incomes on small farms, despite government support and the active development of large agricultural enterprises.
