The vessel MEDKON MIRA V.629S, carrying imported cargo and originally scheduled to unload at the Black Sea fishing port, is being rerouted to the Romanian port of Constanța.
“All import shipments with Chernomorsk as the port of discharge … are also scheduled to be rerouted to Constanta,” the company stated in a message on its Telegram channel. The company asks customers for whom Constanta is not an acceptable loading port to submit a request accordingly.
Maersk resumed its regular container service to the port of Chernomorsk in June 2024. In October of that same year, the company launched a direct feeder service connecting Chernomorsk, Ukraine, with Constanta, Romania, and Port Said, Egypt, according to latifundist.
