Children's Day

All day on June 1, at the Moldovan border customs checkpoints, children crossing the border were accompanied by a small gift.

Customs officers welcomed little passengers with bracelets and reflective key chains, as well as with wishes for a happy childhood.

According to a Customs Service press release, “These surprises have a simple but important purpose: to bring joy and at the same time remind them of the importance of safety. The bracelets and reflective key chains symbolize the care for the little ones and the responsibility we all share.”

As Logos Press previously reported, in the capital, a children’s holiday under the general name “The World of Childhood” was held from May 30 to June 1, 2026. The program included educational, artistic and entertaining activities that became a space of communication for the whole family.
