
The event was attended by representatives of central government agencies involved in implementing the Strategy, who analyzed the evolution of the Republic of Moldova’s participation in SUERD and discussed cooperation priorities for the coming period.
During the meeting, the functioning of SUERD and the roles of the Strategy’s implementing partners were presented, and the importance of the Coordination Groups on priority areas in developing projects, strengthening partnerships, and leveraging European funding opportunities was emphasized.
Participants reviewed the progress made by representatives of the Republic of Moldova in the activities of the Coordination Groups for priority areas between March 2024 and June 2026, and discussed funding opportunities available through Interreg programs and other European instruments for projects developed on the EUSDR platform.
They also addressed the prospects for organizing the activities of the Coordination Council in the context of the Republic of Moldova’s preparations for accession to the European Union, with an emphasis on the importance of interagency and regional cooperation for advancing projects of common interest in the Danube region.
