
The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Economic Council under the Prime Minister, business associations, development partners, and employees of the State Tax Service.
Opening the event, Olga Golban, Director of the State Tax Service, noted that the results of the survey are an important assessment of the institution’s efforts from the point of view of taxpayers and the business community. “The most valuable opinions for us are those expressed by outside observers,” she noted. – This survey shows both the progress we have made and the needs of the business community and citizens.”
According to the results of the surveys, the level of satisfaction with interaction with the State Tax Service has increased compared to previous years.
For legal entities, the most frequent forms of interaction remain filing declarations and requesting information from the STS. In general, companies positively evaluate contacts with tax officials, clarity of information and services that facilitate voluntary compliance with tax legislation.
Speed up the work of platforms andreduce technical failures
The survey showed that the use of electronic tax services has increased noticeably among legal entities. At the same time, taxpayers pointed to the need to increase the speed of platforms, reduce technical failures and simplify some processes.
During the event, the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova presented the results of the METRIX survey, focusing on the tax component of the rating.
And it noted visible progress in tax administration and digitalization and stressed the more consultative nature of business interaction with tax authorities.
During the panel discussion “Business – STS Partnership. Perception, Results, Impact”, representatives of the business environment emphasized the need for its more active involvement in the discussion of decisions affecting economic activity.
