This was stated by spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Ruslan Varankov, reports BelTA.

“The Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle “Chaika,” which was originally headed for the territory of the Russian Federation to strike objects on its territory, was detected near the village of Stanislavtsy, Dokshitsy district, Vitsebsk voblast,” Ruslan Varankov said. – The Lithuanian side has not taken any action to prevent the combat drone from entering the territory of Belarus, including timely notification of the Belarusian Armed Forces, unlike the measures taken by the Belarusian side in similar situations.

The spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry emphasized that these actions were a direct threat to the security of Belarus and a gross violation of international law.

“The Belarusian side demands from the Lithuanian side to conduct proceedings on this fact, immediately provide detailed information on the circumstances of the incident and take measures to prevent similar incidents in the future,” said Ruslan Varankov.
