The maximum price for AI-95 gasoline will be 30 lei and 77 bani (5 bani more than today) per liter, and for diesel fuel—32.54 lei (28 bani more) per liter.
Fuel prices in Moldova have been rising steadily for a month now. During this period, diesel prices have risen by nearly 8 lei, and gasoline prices by more than 3 lei.
ANRE attributes the price increase to the conflict in the Middle East, as well as to the shallowing of the Danube, which is preventing oil tankers from entering the port of Giurgiulești.
