This was reported by Ilya Trombitsky, director of the non-governmental organization Eco-TIRAS, on his Facebook page.
According to the quoted source, the current flow in the lower Dniester is “less than the minimum flow that Ukraine undertook to ensure two years ago by agreement with Moldova, despite the circumstances, and which minimally meets the economic needs of Moldova itself and the Odessa region. Due to the fact that the flow into the lower Dniester remained at 100 m3/s, the Dniester reservoir lost 35 cm of level during the last part of May from 1 to 18, and today it is 115.25 meters above sea level”.
The Meteorological Service of Ukraine predicts precipitation for the current week in all parts of the country. Let’s hope so.
