The project was selected on 16 September by the Selection and Evaluation Committee for projects funded from the National Health Insurance Company’s (CNAM) preventive measures fund. The call for proposals ran from 21 August to 8 September 2026.
The initiative aims to reduce the risk of drug use among children and adolescents by increasing the level of information, awareness and resilience of communities in relation to this issue. The activities will be carried out in accordance with the National Strategy on Drugs and Addictions for 2026–2032.
The project includes educational sessions for children, adolescents, teachers and parents; media awareness campaigns; the expansion of the ‘ViciiZero’ digital educational platform; and a national media competition on drug prevention.
The project will run from October 2026 to December 2027, in urban and rural areas across the northern, central and southern regions of the country, including the municipalities of Chișinău and Bălți, as well as the districts of Ialoveni, Strășeni, Sîngerei, Leova, Soroca, Hîncești, Fălești, Ștefan Vodă, Anenii Noi, Criuleni and Căușeni.
