The seven pillars cover the key areas of interaction between Kazakhstan and Russia. One of the pillars is common history and responsible attitude to its objective comprehension in the spirit of friendship and good-neighborliness. This includes common efforts to develop Eurasian integration and the formation of a space of cooperation, security and dialog, Forbes writes.
Another foundation rests on a common border. Next are economic partnership, linguistic and cultural diversity, traditional values, educational exchanges and cooperation in sports, as well as a shared vision of the future.
Also signed were:
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Russian Federation on the basic principles and conditions of cooperation on the project for the construction of a nuclear power plant in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Russian Federation on granting the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan a state export credit to finance the construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan;
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Russian Federation on the establishment and operation in the Republic of Kazakhstan of the international general education school “Kazakhstan – Sirius” and the center for work with the talents of children and youth;
- Agreement between the Government of the RK and the Government of the Russian Federation on expanding cooperation in the oil sector;
- Agreement between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation on financing the costs of education of citizens of the Russian Federation in the branch of the non-profit joint-stock company “Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi” in Omsk;
- Additional Agreement to the Agreement between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federal Financial Monitoring Service (of the Russian Federation) on cooperation in combating legalization (laundering) of proceeds of crime and financing of terrorism;
- Bilateral Agreement on currency swap Kazakhstani tenge/Russian ruble between the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation;
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation;
- Action Plan (“Road Map”) of interagency cooperation between the Ministries of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation in the field of development of digitalization in transport;
- Plan of practical measures (“Roadmap”) for cooperation between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare of the Russian Federation;
- Plan of joint actions of JSC NC KTZh and JSCo “Russian Railways” on the development of digitalization of freight railway transportation;
- Plan of practical measures (“Road Map”) for cooperation between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare of the Russian Federation;
- Plan of joint actions of JSC NC KTZh and JSCo “Russian Railways” for the development of digitalization of freight rail transportation.
