The festival offered guests a packed program: from calligraphy workshops and martial arts demonstrations to Chinese cuisine tastings and displays of traditional Hanfu costumes. The technology zone became a real center of attraction, showcasing the latest innovations—from modern electric vehicles to smart devices. And the special, heartfelt atmosphere of the festival was set by the naist Constantin Moscovici: accompanied by an orchestra conducted by Andrei Zapsh, he performed a famous Chinese melody, uniting the musical traditions of the two countries.
Vice-Chairman of Parliament Vlad Batrincea highlighted the depth of Chinese civilization, whose history spans more than five thousand years, and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of cultural dialogue between Moldova and China.
“The achievements of the People’s Republic of China in recent decades are truly impressive. China’s transformation into a global hub for cutting-edge technology, scientific research, and industrial development serves as a source of inspiration for many nations and peoples. For the Republic of Moldova, China is not only an important partner but also a reliable friend,” Batrincea stated.
Viktor Prutianu, Deputy Mayor of Chisinau, noted that the festival filled the capital with color and a spirit of openness, providing residents with a unique opportunity to experience Chinese culture.
“Chisinau is an open, European, and multicultural city. Events like this bring us closer together, help us get to know each other better, and build bridges of friendship between people,” Prutianu emphasized.
The event was attended by Ms. Dong Zhihua, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Moldova, as well as Minister of Culture Cristian Jardan.
