Ludmila Katlabuga
During the forum, Minister Ludmila Catlabuga spoke about the interest of the Moldovan agri-food sector in developing economic partnership with Italy through investments, modern technologies and projects that can strengthen agri-food production and processing. The Minister’s speech was complemented by representatives of the Investment Agency, the Agency for Development and Modernization of Agriculture and the Association “Moldova Fruct”. They presented investment opportunities and perspectives of the sector, as well as instruments for modernization of agriculture in Moldova. Also discussed were the issues of mechanization, transfer of agricultural technologies, cooperation in production and processing.
The forum also included a business networking session between companies and organizations (B2B and B2G), which gave companies and institutions the opportunity to discuss projects, investments and forms of cooperation.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry MAIA, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Italy and the Embassy of Italy in the Republic of Moldova, with the assistance of the Investment Agency, Unioncamere and SIMEST.
