
Europe Day
In honor of Europe Day in Chisinau, mass events with the participation of the first persons of the state will be held on the Great National Assembly Square.
The festive day will start with the opening of the “European Town”. In the official part, from 13:10, Igor Grosu, Parliament Speaker, Alexandru Munteanu, Prime Minister, and Iwona Piorko, European Union Ambassador to Moldova, will make speeches.
From 13:00 to 18:00, an interactive fair with the stands of the 27 EU member states will be open. It will be possible to visit thematic zones for children and adults, photo zones and gastronomic sites.

Victory Day
No official events are scheduled to commemorate Victory Day and the memory of the heroes who fell for the independence of the homeland, but unofficial commemorative actions are held annually at the initiative of citizens, public organizations and opposition leaders.
For example, the traditional Victory March will take place in Chisinau. The participants will gather at 9:30 at the monument to Stefan cel Mare. The organizers say: “Let’s show that we are many, that Moldova remembers, that we are the descendants of the winners”.
The traditional car rally “Victory is one for all!” will take place. It will start from 10:30 to 12:30 on the roadway of Stefan cel Mare Blvd.
Mayor Ion Ceban said that an exhibition center will open in the morning at the Eternity Memorial Complex, which will operate on a permanent basis. The complex has been put in order: the monument has been washed, greenery has been landscaped and flowers have been planted.
