The first such exhibition took place last year and was held in the format of a festival—featuring music, dancing, and contests.
The event’s goal is to promote domestic goods and services, support local producers, and strengthen consumer confidence in “Made in Moldova” brands.
Sergiu Haria, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, emphasized that for companies, the exhibition is an opportunity to promote their products and establish new partnerships, while for visitors, it is a chance to discover high-quality Moldovan products.
On the first day of the exhibition, a “National Costume Parade” will be held. On the second day, the National Placinta Festival will make its debut, during which the largest cherry placinta in Moldovan history will be baked.
Also on August 29, the first “Wineries Rating 2026” awards ceremony will take place.
The “Domestic Product” exhibition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and in strategic partnership with the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA).
It is held with the support of the “Moldexpo” International Exhibition Center, the National Association of the Bakery and Flour Milling Industry, central and local public authorities, business organizations, and development partners.
