Constitutional Court to spend 600 thousand lei on air tickets

The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova plans to spend 600 thousand lei on air tickets for official trips abroad in 2026, Logos Press reports.

The expenses for air transportation are distributed by semesters: 299,999 lei for the first semester and the same amount for the second semester. The first tender has already been announced, preference will be given to the offers with the lowest cost of services.

Besides the cost of the tickets themselves, the institution’s budget provides for the use of the hall for official delegations at the airport. For this purpose, 80 thousand lei are allocated in 2026. Also, there are expenses for health insurance in the amount of 5 thousand lei.

Besides, among the major expenses of the Constitutional Court in 2026, there are heating costs – almost half a million lei, the purchase of a car – 300,000 lei, as well as electricity – 250,000 lei.

All the expenses of the Constitutional Court are financed from the state budget.

The total budget of the institution for the current year amounts to almost 38.2 million lei, whereas in the previous year it amounted to 35.5 million lei.
